Thijs Havens is an Amsterdam-based musician who came to the fore around 2010 with his bands Saelors & Light Light. In 2011 he founded & fronted indie pop/rock band The Vagary who received some acclaim around the release of their debut album Salute (2014). He has composed, produced & performed new (live) scores for silent films at Eye Filmmuseum where he works as a programmer of their Eye on Sound & Eye on Art series. Currently he is finishing a second album as Esplanade.
